Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas serves more than 19,000 girls and 8,000 adults within the council's new 21-county jurisdiction:
- Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Frio, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, and Wilson counties from the San Antonio Area jurisdiction,
- Edwards, Dimmit, Kimble, Kinney, Maverick, Real, Uvalde, Val Verde, and Zavala counties from the El Camino Council jurisdiction,
- Comal, Gonzalez, and Guadalupe counties from the Lone Star Council jurisdiction, and
- Karnes from the Tip of Texas Council, now Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas jurisdiction.
GSSWT began serving the 21-county area June 1, 2007!
